FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge tournaments allow students, aged between 9-16, to practice their skills in research, problem-solving, coding and engineering to better prepare them for their later careers and plays a huge role in bridging the skills gap in STEM industries.

A Successful Challenge Campaign

This year’s theme, ‘Masterpiece’ looks at the integration of the Arts into the existing STEM umbrella (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths). By shining a spotlight on the role STEM plays in the arts, teams will imagine and innovate new ways to create, inspire and communicate art across the globe.

The run of tournaments saw over 165 kids from 21 teams test their robot design skills in a series of competitive matches and present their innovation project, which prompted students to create a solution to a real-world problem.

Over 100 Bosch associates also volunteered their time across the three events in the form of judges, referees, and event volunteers. Their enthusiasm and dedication not only ensured the success of the event but also aimed to inspire the next generation, who will shape the future workforce.
