Worcester Bosch Volunteering Activities
Throughout the whole of 2022, as part of our 60th anniversary celebrations our Worcester Bosch team donated a day of work to volunteer for local charities or community projects.
From gardening at St Richards Hospice and the Worcestershire Breast Haven to helping out along waterways, litter picking and other environmental activities, local groups were asked to register the projects they needed help with, and the team picked their cause.
One particular successful volunteer day was from our Product Management team working together to help at Hartlebury Castle and Grounds.
Hard physical work from all including making the site more accessible to visitors (building a ramp from the car park, enhancing the boardwalk for ease of access for wheelchairs, prams etc to the Play Area). Some also helped with photographing, videoing the grounds and castle and interviewing volunteers and archaeologists on site.
Another great volunteering event at The Freedom Day Centre in Evesham who have a day centre for adults with learning difficulties – our leadership team spent the day building a sensory and activity garden.
In 2023 the scheme is running again so we’re hoping to make a difference to more community groups and charities across the country once more.
