Dr. Steffen Hoffmann
Biography
Dr. Steffen Hoffmann is the Managing Director of Bosch UK & Ireland. Steffen began his career in 1992 at Robert Bosch GmbH in Germany as a management trainee and went on to hold several executive commercial roles in different countries, including Germany, Japan, and southern Africa.
Steffen has been with the Bosch business for over 32 years, starting his career in 1992 as a Management Trainee in Germany, and since then he has progressed within the company in various roles around the world.
Alongside his position as MD of Bosch UK & Ireland, Steffen is the Head of Europe 1. He has held this role since early 2023. As Head of Europe 1, Steffen focuses on enhancing regional cooperation and exchange at management level across European countries, including Austria, Czech Republic, Great Britain, Hungary, Ireland, Poland, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, and the Nordic and Scandinavia regions.
Prior to this, Steffen was President and CEO of Bosch Russia from early 2021 to December 2022, overseeing operations in the Russian Federation, Belarus, Ukraine, the Caucasus, Central Asia, and Mongolia.
Steffen has been the Managing Director of Bosch UK & Ireland since August 1, 2024. He is married and has a daughter. Steffen’s passions include classic cars and playing golf.
